Title:A Research Journey in the Era of Artificial Intelligence
Time: 10:30, November 4
Location:Meeting Room, Yifu Auditorium
Abstract:
entering on the trend of generative AI being deeply integrated into the whole research process, this report systematically analyzes the dual challenges brought by AI tools while boosting research productivity: economic cost constraints from API calls and computing power bottlenecks, which provide an economic analytical basis for research institutions to deploy open-source quantized models and build centralized proxy services, and the ethical governance dilemma of insufficient AI usage disclosure transparency in academic publishing, pointing out the limited implementation effect of existing journal disclosure norms and supporting the establishment of a unified mandatory AI usage reporting mechanism. The report also looks forward to the automated scientific discovery paradigm driven by autonomous multi-agents, dialectically discusses the balance between efficiency gains, research integrity and funding sustainability, helps researchers, journal editorial offices and research management bodies rationally understand the reshaping effect of generative AI on the research ecosystem, and provides empirical references and governance ideas for building an efficient, transparent and sustainable AI-assisted research standard system, with important practical significance for promoting responsible AI-driven scientific research.
