Recently, the Qingdao Science and Technology Innovation Conference was convened to honor the projects and individuals awarded the 2025 Qingdao Science and Technology Awards. The project Research on High-Dimensional Data Space Reconstruction and Structured Reduction Mechanism of Large Models, led by Professor Wang Jian from the laboratory, received the Second Prize of the Qingdao Natural Science Award.
In 2025, a total of 103 projects (and individual candidates) were granted awards in Qingdao, including 1 recipient of the Top Science and Technology Award, 17 Natural Science Awards (5 First Prizes and 12 Second Prizes), 4 Technological Invention Awards (3 First Prizes and 1 Second Prize), 79 Science and Technology Progress Awards (1 Special Prize, 15 First Prizes and 63 Second Prizes), 1 Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Contribution Award, and 1 International Science and Technology Cooperation Award.
