Recently, the seventh Shandong Province Artificial Intelligence Conference organized by Shandong Province Artificial Intelligence Society and hosted by Zaozhuang College was held in Zaozhuang College. The fifth Shandong Province Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award Award Ceremony was held at the meeting, and the “Soft Computing Sparse Modeling Theory and Key Optimization Techniques for High-Dimensional Data” accomplished by the team of Prof. Wang Jian from China University of Petroleum (East China) was awarded the first prize of the Fifth Shandong Province Artificial Intelligence Natural Science. Prof. Jian Wang attended the conference and received the award on the stage.
Shandong Province Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award is awarded to individuals and organizations that promote the academic research and industrial progress of AI in Shandong Province in scientific and technological progress activities, and is divided into five categories of awards, namely, Outstanding Contribution Award, Outstanding Young People Award, Natural Science Award, Technological Invention Award, and Scientific and Technological Progress Award (including science and technology popularization projects), which are evaluated once a year. The fifth Shandong Province Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award honors a total of 16 projects, including two first prizes and four second prizes for natural science awards, one second prize for technological invention awards, one first prize, three second prizes and three third prizes for scientific and technological progress awards, and two excellent youth awards.
