Recently, at the invitation of Prof. Robert Kozma, the editor-in-chief of IEEE Transactions on Systems Man and Cybernetics：Systems, a top international academic journal in the field of automation and artificial intelligence, Prof. Jian Wang of the College of Science has been appointed as the associate editor of the journal, who is mainly responsible for reviewing the papers in the related fields.
IEEE Transactions on Systems Man and Cybernetics: Systems, founded in 1960, is now published by IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, and is an SCI 1 journal with the latest impact factor of 8.7. It is a journal of automation, control systems, intelligent control systems, and intelligent control systems. The journal belongs to the interdisciplinary field of automation, control system, intelligent control, artificial intelligence, and system analysis, and mainly publishes the latest research results related to automation and intelligent control. It is the flagship publication of IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, and the international top journal in automation and intelligent control.
Jian Wang, professor and doctoral supervisor, is currently the director of the university's cross-media big data joint laboratory, the director of the Qingdao industrial artificial intelligence key laboratory, the deputy director of the Shandong province energy industry big data development innovation laboratory, and the director of the journals IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, and Shandong province energy industry big data development innovation laboratory, and the director of the IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems. Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence, Information Sciences, and International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics. He is an associate editor of Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics, and an editorial board member of Neural Computing and Applications and Complex & Intelligent Systems. He is mainly engaged in the research of embedded feature selection model, intelligent optimization theory, big data modeling, etc. He has achieved good results in the application of neural network model design, fractional order learning theory, large-scale sparse optimization and big data intelligent learning algorithms in petroleum engineering and other fields. He has published more than 140 academic papers, presided over more than 10 provincial and national projects, and won two second prizes of Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Academic Achievement Award. He serves as the Chair of the 2022 IEEE International Conference on Computational Intelligence Interpretable Data Analysis (EDACI) Symposia, the Chair of the 2022 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (Qingdao) and the Belt and Road Conference on the Frontiers of Computational Intelligence, and the Chair of the 2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Computational Intelligence.
The new appointment of Prof. Jian Wang will help to strengthen the communication between the research results of the university in the fields of computer science and electrical and electronic engineering and the international community of computational intelligence, and expand the influence of the university in the international research field.
