Pal from the Department of Electronics and Communications at the Institute of Statistics of India, IEEE Fellow, Academician of the Indian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Indian Academy of Engineering, and Academician of the Academy of Sciences for Developing Countries, to give an academic report titled Computational Intelligence for Discovering Biomarkers, including Disease Co biomarkers, and had in-depth exchanges with the teachers and classmates who listened to the report.
Professor Nikhil R. Pal will first briefly discuss the relationship between computational intelligence and artificial intelligence, as well as how they can assist in biomedicine/healthcare. Subsequently, Professor Pal explained how to use computational intelligence technology to discover biomarkers for different cancers and discussed two different biomarkers. Finally, two different cancer datasets were used to further illustrate the identification of the two biomarkers.
